A widening part
You are seeing more scalp through the top of your hair.
SUPRAFAMILY AND WELLNESS CLINICBook Your Hair-Loss Consultation Hair loss is not one diagnosis. Your personalized plan may include PRP, medication, targeted lab testing, supportive care, or referral—based on your pattern, history, and goals.

Instead of guessing from a product shelf, start with the concern you can see and a clinical evaluation of what may be driving it.
You are seeing more scalp through the top of your hair.
Your hairline or crown looks less dense in photos and bright light.
You are noticing extra hair in the shower, brush, or on clothing.
Tension, styling practices, or another contributor may be affecting the hairline.
Discrete loss, itching, scale, tenderness, or inflammation deserves medical attention.
You have tried oils, vitamins, or shampoos but still do not know the cause.
We review when the change started, where it is happening, family history, recent illness or stress, nutrition, medications, hormones, styling practices, and scalp symptoms. Your visit may include a scalp examination and targeted laboratory testing.

Tell us about blood thinners, antiplatelet medicines, NSAIDs, and supplements. Never stop a prescription medicine unless the clinician who prescribed it directs you to do so.

Book Your Hair-Loss ConsultationHair thinning can be influenced by genetics, hormones, nutrition, illness, stress, medications, hairstyles, scalp conditions, or several factors at once. A medical evaluation helps narrow the possibilities.
We review your history, medications, shedding pattern, family history, nutrition, and goals, then examine your scalp. Targeted laboratory testing or referral may be recommended when appropriate.
PRP uses a concentrated portion of your own blood platelets. After a blood draw and processing, PRP is injected into selected scalp areas. It may be considered for some types of non-scarring hair loss, but results vary.
You may feel pressure or brief pinches. A comfort plan, which may include topical anesthetic, is discussed before treatment. Sensitivity varies from person to person.
Options depend on diagnosis, sex, pregnancy potential, health history, and risks. Topical minoxidil has FDA-approved hair-loss indications. Finasteride 1 mg is FDA approved for male-pattern hair loss in men. Oral minoxidil and spironolactone are off-label options that may be considered for selected patients.
Hair cycles move slowly, so meaningful assessment usually takes months rather than days. Timing, degree of response, and maintenance needs vary.
No. Not every follicle or diagnosis responds, and no treatment can guarantee regrowth. Your consultation covers realistic goals, alternatives, risks, and when another specialist may be more appropriate.
Sudden patchy loss, scalp pain, significant inflammation, signs of scarring, or an unclear diagnosis may require dermatology evaluation. We will recommend referral when it is the safer next step.
